The Secret Splendour

  Poems

Farewell, sweet earth, but I shall find you sweeter

When I return

With eyes in which all heaven's farnesses

Intimately burn.

Then you will show in all I once held dear

The cause cf my keen flame:

The holy hush my poet tongue miscalled

Name on poor mortal name.
