Poems
THEME/S
Now earth and air are Gods and a God flows
And some large lustre makes all shapes divine
And all divinities have met in her look
Because the burning heart of me draws up
Love from the loins' abysses of blind honey
To throw it like a fountaining aureole
Around my thoughts.... The fountain leaps and falls
Across the night of her hair, the day of her face.
To a timeless hunger calling through her heart.
There the whole shining ecstasy is caught,
With never a sparkle missed, no single drop
Sunk loinward, washing all the Gods away!
