The Secret Splendour

  Poems

Between Two Loves

Between two loves

I weep and weep.

 To the one I wake,

With the other sleep.

Torn is my soul

Which both have kissed—

And I must struggle,

 A bigamist,

Till waking and sleeping

Are caught as one,

 And the shut eyes hold

An inward sun.
