Spell-bound?

In the course of some remarks in the presence of Sri Aurobindo, X referred to someone who always drew crowds whenever he spoke.

I said that by itself that did not prove the man was great. Many could do that. At this point, X spoke of his own experiences and said: “You just remain open to Mother and Sri Aurobindo, think a little of what to speak and nor to speak, and go on. And you find the whole audience falling under a spell.”

Sri Aurobindo interjected: “But how do you know that they are not sleeping!”
