Sri Aurobindo did not give any title to this work. When it was published as a separate booklet, the title श्री अरविन्दोपनिषद् (śrī aravindopaniṣad) was given by the editors and अन्वयः (prose order) and भावार्थ (meaning) were included.
This Upanishad is the essence of Sri Aurobindo's teachings. According to him this world is not an illusion. It is as true as Brahman.
