Editor’s Note

The contents of this brochure have been compiled from among the papers of Sri Kapali Sastriar. They are mostly in the nature of drafts and notes originally meant for the use of correspondents and students of Sanskrit Literature for whom he conducted classes occasionally. Though not revised, they are here brought together for the fresh light they shed on the topics touched upon as also for the unique manner in which such a wide variety of subjects came to be treated at his hands.
