There are three notable books of Charanavyūha attributed, respectively, to Shaunaka, Kātyāyana and Vyāsa. The total number of Shākhās are believed to be 1131, but at present only 10 Shākhās remain alive. As far as Rigveda is concerned, only one Shākhās, Shākala Shākhās alone...
