Darshan Messages 1995

The light has come, the road has opened; with a grateful bow to the laborious past, we shall move swiftly forward to the new way opened wide by Thee before us.
On the threshold of this new field of a vaster and more conscious realisation, we bow before Thee, O Lord, in an integral surrender and adoration. We give ourselves to Thee without reservation.

The Mother

La lumière s'est faite, le chemin s'est ouvert; avec un salut reconnaissant au passé laborieux, nous allons nous élancer sur la voie nouvelle largement ouverte par Toi devant nous.
Sur le seuil de ce nouveau champ de réalisation, plus vaste et plus conscient, nous nous inclinons devant Toi, Seigneur, dans une soumission, une adoration intégrales. Nous nous donnons à Toi sans réserve.

La Mère

The Mother's consciousness is the divine Con­sciousness and the Light that comes from it is the light of the divine Truth, the Force that she brings down is the force of the divine Truth. One who receives and accepts and lives in the Mother's light, will begin to see the truth on all the planes, the mental, the vital, the physical.

Sri Aurobindo

La conscience de la Mère est la Conscience divine et la Lumière qui en émane est la lumière de la Vérité divine, la Force qu'elle fait descendre, la force de la Vérité divine. Celui qui reçoit et accepte la lumière de la Mère et qui vit en elle, commence à voir la vérité sur tous les plans, mental, vital, physique.

I am charged by God to do his mighty work,
Uncaring I serve his will who sent me forth,
Reckless of peril and earthly consequence.
I reason not of virtue and of sin
But do the deed he has put into my heart.

When I came from Japan: I was on the boat, at sea, not expecting anything..., when all. of a sudden, abruptly, about two nautical miles from Pondicherry, the quality, I may even say the physical quality of the atmosphere, of the air, changed so much that I knew we were entering the aura of Sri Aurobindo. It was a physical experience and I guarantee that whoever has a sufficiently awakened consciousness can feel the same thing.

Quand je suis arrivée du Japon: j'étais en bateau, au large, je ne m'attendais à rien..., quand tout d'un coup, brusquement, à environ deux milles marins de Pondichéry, la qualité, je peux même dire la qualité physique de l'atmosphère, de l'air, a tellement changé que je savais que nous entrions dans l'aura de Sri Aurobindo. C'était une expérience physique, n'est-ce pas, et je garantis :, que toute personne ayant la conscience suffisamment éveillée peut sentir la même chose.

A miracle of the Absolute was born;
Infinity put on a finite soul,
All ocean lived within a wandering drop,
A time-made body housed the Illimitable.

Un miracle de l'Absolu était né;

The Divine puts on an appearance of humanity, assumes the outward human nature in order to tread the path and show it to human beings, but does not cease to be the Divine. It is a manifestation that takes place, a manifestation of a growing divine consciousness, not human turning into divine, The Mother was inwardly above the human even in childhood...

Le Divin revêt une apparence humaine, assume la nature humaine extérieure afin de frayer et montrer la voie aux êtres humains, mais il ne cesse pas d'être le Divin. Ce qui se produit, c'est une manifestation d'une conscience divine grandissante, non le changement d'une conscience humaine en une conscience divine. Intérieurement, même pendant son enfance, la Mère était au-dessus de l'humain.

The whole principle of this yoga is to give oneself entirely to the Divine alone and to nobody and nothing else, and to bring down into ourselves by union with the Divine Mother-Power all the transcendent light, force, wideness, peace, purity, truth-eoncsiousness and Ananda of the supramental Divine.

Tout le principe de notre yoga est de se donner entièrement au seul Divin et à personne ni à rien d'autre, et de faire descendre en nous, par l'union avec le Pouvoir de la Mère Divine, toute la lumière, la force, l'ampleur, la paix, la pureté, la conscience de vérité et l'Ânanda transcendants du Divin supramental.

To understand his teaching better and try to put it into practice, is certainly the best way of showing our gratitude to him for all the light, knowledge and force which he has so generously brought to the earth.
May his teaching enlighten and guide us, and what we cannot do today, we shall do tomorrow.

The Mother

Comprendre mieux son enseignement et nous efforcer de le mettre en pratique, est certainement la meilleure façon de lui exprimer notre gratitude pour toute la lumière, la connaissance et la force qu'il a si généreusement apportées à la terre.
Que son enseignement nous éclaire et nous guide, et ce que nous ne pouvons pas faire aujourd'hui, nous le pourrons demain.
