The Mother's reading of Savitri Book Two, Canto III

अतः समुद्रा गिरयश्च सर्वेऽस्मात् स्यन्दन्ते सिन्धवः सर्वरूपाः।
अतश्च सर्वा ओषधयो रसश्च येनैष भूतैस्तिष्ठते ह्यन्तरात्मा ॥९॥
एतस्माज्जायते प्राणो मनः सर्वेन्द्रियाणि च ।
खं वायुयोतिरापः पृथिवी विश्वस्य धारिणी ॥३॥

ataḥ samudrā girayaśca sarve'smāt syandante sindhavaḥ sarvarūpāḥ,
ataśca sarvā oṣadhayo rasaśca yenaiṣa bhūtaistiṣṭhate hyantarātmā. 9
etasmājjāyate prāṇo manaḥ sarvendriyāṇi ca,
khaṁ vāyurjyotirāpaḥ pṛthivi viśvasya dhāriṇi. 3

Mundaka Upanishad 2.1.9, 3

From Him are the oceans and all these mountains and from Him flow rivers of all forms, and from Him are all plants, and sensible delight which makes the soul to abide with the material elements. (9)

Life and mind and the senses are born from Him and the sky, and the wind, and light, and the waters and earth upholding all that is. (3)
