To begin with, not to stick to the old habits individual and national.
May this year be a year of luminous peace in the joy that comes from true kindness—the human child of Divine Compassion.
Let us hope also that this year will not pass without bringing us together once more.
Let the dawn of the New Year be for us also the dawn of a new and better life.
Mother, dispel all my ignorance and egoism with the first ray of sunlight of the New Year.
Make Your Light shine out in me and may this Light give birth in me to a consciousness full of Your supreme delight.
Yes, the New Year must dispel the smoke of ignorance and make the Light shine forth.
My blessings are with you.

Qu’est-ce que « travailler pour l’avenir » ?
Tout d’abord, ne pas se cramponner aux vieilles habitudes individuelles et nationales.
Que cette année soit une année de paix lumineuse dans la joie que donne la bonté véritable, cette fille humaine de la Compas‐ sion divine.
Nous souhaitons aussi que cette année ne passe pas sans que nous soyons de nouveau réunis.
Que l’aube de la Nouvelle année soit pour nous aussi l’aube d’une vie nouvelle et meilleure.
Mère, dissipe mon ignorance et mon égoïsme avec le premier rayon de l’année nouvelle.
Fais jaillir en moi Ta Lumière qui me fera naître à une conscience pleine de Ta joie suprême.
Oui, il faut que la nouvelle année dissipe les fumées de l’ignorance et fasse jaillir la lumière.
Mes bénédictions sont avec toi.

अभ्यवस्थाः प्र जायन्ते प्र वद्रेर्वव्रिश्चिकेत । उपस्ये मातुर्वि चष्टे ॥१॥
1) State upon state is born, covering upon covering has become conscious and aware, in the lap of the mother he sees.
जुहुरे वि चितयन्तोऽनिमिषं नृम्णं पान्ति । आ दृळ्हां पुरं विविशुः ॥२॥
2) Awaking to an entire knowledge they have called and guard a sleepless strength, they have entered the strong fortified city.
आ श्वैत्रेयस्य जन्तवो द्युमद् वर्धन्त कृष्टयः । निष्कग्रीवो बृहदुक्थ एना मध्वा न वाजयुः ॥३॥
3) Creatures born, men who people the earth have increased the luminosity of the son of the white mother; his neck wears the golden necklace, he has the utterance of the Vast, and with his honey-wine he is the seeker of the plenitude.
