Prayer

Lord, it is Thy Peace we would have and not a vain semblance of peace, Thy Freedom and not a semblance of freedom, Thy Unity and not a semblance of unity. For it is only Thy Peace, Thy Freedom and Thy Unity that can triumph over the blind violence and the hypocrisy and falsehood that still reign upon earth.

Grant that those who so valiantly struggled and suffered for Thy Victory, may see the true and genuine results of that victory realised in the world.

The Mother

Words of the Mother - III > New Year Messages

I know Him who is the greatest of all, luminous like the sun and beyond all ignorance. By knowing him alone death is transcended. No other way exists for this.

Om Prajapati moves about in the womb and though unborn grows within it and takes up diverse forms. The wise look far into his source of being. In him alone dwell all the worlds.

Suklayajurveda 31.18, 19

Saraswati Stotram

White-hued — white as the Kunda flower or the moon
or the snow-range, robed in white
She bears in her arms the marvellous vina, seated on
the lotus.

She is ever adored by Brahma and Vishnu and Shiva
and all the Gods.
May Mira save us, the Goddess, may she wipe out
all our slothness unto the last.

Translation by Nolini Kanta Gupta
CWNKG > Vol. 8 > Hymn to Saraswati

Salutations to the Goddess Mahamira, the omniscient, the giver of all boons, who is terrible to all wrongdoers and reliever of all sorrows.

Salutations always to the Goddess Mahamira, giver of realisation and intelligence, giver of enjoyment and freedom and who is the very image of Mantra.

Salutations to the Goddess Mahamira, who is beginningless and endless, who is the Power Original, Maheshwari, born of Yoga and the Self of Yogic magnificence.
