THEME/S
IN this hush might float away
Dust and dross,
Ascent be won from weight of clay,
From pain and I6ss.
Light the incense tapers here ;
Bow the head :
Dream that light-washed sky is near.
Self's barrier dead.
Dawn-poise is on east, north, and west:
Exultant south
Holds calm within a glowing breast.
On lovekissed mouth.
November 3, 1938.
